Our Story

Welcome To…

The Green Man at Inglewhite – Established in 1809, under new management since Jan 2017 and operating as a Freehouse since 2018 with fabulous views from all sides, the Green Man is perfectly located to enjoy a drink or meal and just relax.

Tucked away in the heart of the Lancashire countryside the Green Man is a hidden gem. In the cold winter you can relax with a delicious meal by a lovely warm log fire, and in the summer chill out with a cool drink in the relaxing beer garden.

Our new menu has some old favourites, but is carried by our new exciting range of tongue tingling dishes, from light bites to hearty dinners, there is something for everyone.

“Stopped in for some food after a very emotional morning. Due to the rain the pub was quiet. But that didn’t matter the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They even made us the garlic bread in a pumpkin shape! Food as explained is all made to order and is seriously good. I had sausage and mash and my mum and sister had the pies. Everything that came was delicious. If you are over that way, go in and get fed!!”
